Centre for Leadership and Volunteer Work

Developing Volunteering and Charity at HSE University

Leadership skills

Our center not only recruits and supports volunteers at HSE and city events, but also regularly conducts trainings, educational trips and etc.

At our educational events, any HSE student can get in touch with the world of volunteering and charity, choose a comfortable area of helping others, and also develop leadership and organizational skills.

Social Mentoring Program

The Social Mentoring Program helps to unlock the potential of all its participants: mentee students learn new things about the world of volunteering and build their social capital. While mentors learn how to convey important information to new volunteers in an exciting and accessible way, how to plan and arrange team meetings, work with a partner in one bundle, support mentee and inspire them to start their career in volunteering.

You can learn more about the social mentoring program here.

Competition of Students' Social Initiatives

Competition of Students' Social Initiatives is a multi-pronged tool to support socially oriented projects of students from all HSE campuses. The winning projects receive financial and administrative support from the Center for Leadership and Volunteer Work. You can choose the direction of the competition and submit an individual or group project. Organizing social projects from scratch teaches responsibility, analytical and critical thinking, planning, and resource allocation in a team. And thanks to the implementation of your project, you learn to come up with and stand up for your ideas that make someone's life kinder and better. Don't miss your chance to develop a "kind" project and get support within the competition!

You can find out more about the order and directions of the competition on the website.
