School of a Volunteer

The inter-campus educational field trip "School of a Volunteer" is held annually in autumn.

There students gain basic knowledge about charity and volunteering, develop communication and conflict management skills, listen to lectures from NPO representatives and receive motivation to do good.

The Volunteer School helps:

  1. find out where to start your journey in the world of volunteerism;
  2. get relevant knowledge according to your experience: the training is divided into tracks for novice volunteers and for team leaders;
  3. expand knowledge about volunteerism and its fields;
  4. acquire valuable skills through workshops and real-world case studies;
  5. become a part of a large volunteer community inside HSE.
  6. The school takes place annually in early November.

In order not to miss the acceptance of applications, go to the Telegram channel of the center.

In addition, the Center for Leadership and Volunteer Work implements a Course of Mediavolunteering and the Social Mentoring Program in which any motivated student can participate:

During the course, HSE students gain comprehensive knowledge about the field of volunteering and charity, learn basic and professional skills in media support for social projects and events in order to learn how to write and edit texts, create content, and organize photo and video shoots for socially oriented organizations.
This is a unique training program in which experienced volunteers share their knowledge and help new volunteers get used to the world of volunteering. It consists of a series of face-to-face meetings where mentors talk about volunteering opportunities, help develop useful skills for volunteers, and support newcomers in their first volunteer activities.
